Zavka, ultimo disperato tentativo

Una nuova spedizione è partita alla ricerca di Stefano Zavka, l’alpinista ternano disperso in cima al K2 da venerdì scorso. Il tempo in cima al K2 è tornato ad essere sereno, e lo sarà almeno fino a venerdì. Tanto che è stato confermato il tentativo di spedizione annunciato nei giorni scorso da Gerlinde Kalterbrunner e dal romano Giuseppe Pompili e poi rinviato proprio a causa del maltempo. ”. Il gruppo è sostanzioso e procede attraverso due vie diverse: la Kaltenbrunner e altri nove alpinisti per la “Cesen”. Gerfried Goeschl (marito dell’austriaca), con gli italiani Marco Tossutti e Simone Moro e altri tre compagni stanno invece salendo per lo “Sperone degli Abruzzi”, lo stesso percorso che avevano fatto Nardi, Vielmo, Fait e Zavka della Mountain Freedom. Ultimamente però un veloce rannuvolamento ha costretto Tossutti, Goeschl e Moro a rinunciare alla salita verso campo quattro stazionando a campo tre. La Kaltenbrunnen e suoi invece sono arrivati a campo quattro. L’atteso rendez vous nella notte fra i due equipaggi non c’è stato, ma se il tempo dovesse permetterlo, forse già oggi, la Kaltenbrunner e i suoi tenteranno la vetta.

quello che mi sconvolge è la pensante aria che si respira sul guestbook di k2freedom.it.

 

sicuramente il capo spedizione dovrà dare molte spiegazioni, e anche particolareggiate, ma non credo che mettersi a dibattere di questo su quel sito possa servire a qualcosa.

 

Io non conoscevo stefano, ma lo ringrazio di avermi fatto appassionare alle vicende degli uomini "d'alta quota".

 

e lo immaginerò sempre sulla vetta di quel maledetto k2.

 

Lui il suo sogno lo ha raggiunto.

 

E resterà per sempre su quella vetta.
